Unveiling the new Period Rooms inside the #GucciGarden Galleria ‘Il Maschile - Androgynous Mind, Eclectic Body’ conceived by @alessandro_michele and curated by critic Maria Luisa Frisa @lafrisa demonstrates how #Gucci has defined men’s fashion over the years. The space reflects on masculinity in interpretations by creative directors, from the Tom Ford era to the present and also includes pieces from the archives, editorial shoots and advertising campaigns. Among the looks displayed is a definitive statement from #AlessandroMichele’s first men’s collection for the House, a red silk shirt with a bow tied at the neck from #GucciFW15. The shirt marked the beginning of the House’s overt engagement with the concept that today gender is a fluid idea. #AlessandroMichele

A look inside the limited-edition ‘Dapper Dan’s Harlem’ by filmmaker and photographer @ari_marcopoulos_official. The special book is a homage to @dapperdanharlem, the couturier creator of one-off outfits for a host of hip-hop artists, celebrities and athletes in the 1980s, which partnered with the House for the Dapper Dan Studio Atelier—that opened in Harlem in December 2017. Green toned glass bottles for the four perfumed oils of #TheAlchemistsGarden reveal a touche oreille, the glass pipette style applicator is a vintage way to apply the elixirs blended with precious raw materials. Rose in ‘A Forgotten Rose’, oud in ‘Nocturnal Reverie’, violet in ‘The Violet Kiss’ and bois modern in ‘Ode on Melancholy’. Revealing the House’s pink rose print, the Acque Profumate bottles are crafted from white lacquered glass, each celebrating a single note in modern compositions. ‘Fading Autumn’ has a fragrance of bois modern, ‘A Winter Melody’ features a note of cypress and ‘Moonlight Serenade’ lavender.
